What We Do

Many of us have had the experience of going to a business, and the marking for the parking spaces were so faded/non-existent that it was impossible to properly park.

This created feelings of anxiety, and concerns about your car being damaged by another person who is also trying to figure out where to properly park, or whether you might be mistakenly parking in a handicapped spot.

Make your parking lot safe for your customers. Protect your customers, and their cars, by providing clearly marked parking spaces.

Businesses, apartments, malls, parking garages, office buildings, warehouses,  schools, football fields, tennis courts, etc with asphalt or concrete paved surfaces.  If it can be striped, Stripelok can tackle it.

Insurance and parking lots

Insurance companies do not like unnecessary risk, which may result in paying out on expensive claims. They will move to protect their interest and limit high risk exposure through policy cancellation.

If your parking lot has faded or non-existent parking lot markings, that can lead to a higher probability of auto accidents, or pedestrian trip and falls, resulting in claims or lawsuits.  These incidents pose an exposure risk to the insurer since they are obligated to defend the insured business in the event of an accident (depending on the policy), and may end up having to pay out on a claim, or defend the business from a lawsuit.

As a way of protecting themselves from the exposure risk that a business may bring due to a poorly marked parking lot, the insurer may require the parking lot be properly marked and pass their inspection.  If the parking lot does not meet their inspection requirements, then they may move to cancel or non-renew the policy.

The best way to reduce the possibility of a policy cancellation or non-renewal is, to keep your parking lot properly cleaned up and striped.

Curb painting
Faded or non existent parking lines or curb lines could cause trip and fall incidents,  posing a serious danger to the elderly and disabled.

Some people have depth perception issues. When stepping down from a curb to pavement, or the reverse from pavement to curb; they are unable to tell the transition in depth, which could result in a trip and fall.  If the person is elderly, that may result in broken bones which are more difficult to heal in the elderly.

One way to protect elderly customers is to paint the curb. The yellow marking serves as an alert to the person, so they can slow down to step down from the curb, or step up onto the curb.  This can lead to a safer experience for your customers.
